Dellbrook|JKS Breaks Ground on the Goddard House

Brookline – On Thursday, July 24th, Dellbrook|JKS broke ground on the Goddard House, the modernization of a three-story, senior living facility. The New England Construction Management firm was joined by Arch Consultants LTD, DiMella Shaffer, project partners, and Goddard residents to celebrate the commence of this transformative renovation. 

These 26,772 square-foot, occupied renovations will be executed in five carefully planned phases to ensure continuous operations through construction. The primary phase begins with the conversion of a unit into a temporary wellness suite, courtyard construction, and the demolition of community spaces to prepare for administrative offices and the relocation of gas piping. Phases two and three focus on level one community spaces and improvements, with the introduction of a new dining and mail room. Phase four enhances enrichment and support areas. Lastly, phase five will carry out further improvements throughout the duration of the project. 

Throughout the construction process, Dellbrook|JKS will simultaneously manage complex logistics, pedestrian access, and phased turnover to ensure swift completion and minimal disruption to residents and staff.

Upon the project’s completion, the Goddard House will feature upgraded common areas, modernized building systems, and refreshed site features. Senior residents of Brookline will enjoy a revitalized living experience within a vibrant community, expected to be completed in the fall of 2026.
