600 River's Edge III
The 600 Rivers Edge project represents the third phase of the Rivers Edge mixed-use riverfront redevelopment in Medford, Massachusetts. This new 283,627 SF seven-story mixed-use residential building will expand the vibrant, transit-oriented community along the Malden and Mystic Rivers.
Designed & constructed as a luxury multifamily building, the project features 224 residential units supported by a structured parking garage with 180 spaces. . The lowest two levels are planned to be a steel podium structure, with five levels of wood frame construction above. The exterior will be clad with brick veneer, fiber cement siding, metal panel siding and curtainwall glazing. The 5th level will include patio areas which are located on either side of the “jewel box” that will house the fitness and amenity areas. The pool area will include an outdoor grill area with cabanas and exterior lighting.
The project’s occupancy will be phased to allow portions of the building to open as construction progresses. Any floors or areas occupied prior to full project completion will meet all applicable fire protection and life-safety requirements, while construction activities continue safely in the unoccupied sections.
When complete, this Passive House project will deliver energy efficient, high-quality housing, amenities, and structured parking that complement the surrounding riverfront environment.
