This project was a 20,700 SF fit-out consisting of 14,200 SF of laboratory /office space as well as 6,500 SF of common areas at the fourth floor of the existing 200 Exchange building. This was the first of two construction phases for the Discovery Life Sciences suite. Construction was also completed in a space partially occupied by restaurant/retail tenants at the first floor in addition to life sciences tenants at the third floor (all four suites were constructed by Dellbrook|JKS) The scope of work included specialty plumbing and HVAC systems, laboratory furniture/equipment and a controlled-environment room. The fast-paced pricing and design process required close and consistent collaboration between Dellbrook|JKS, the client, their tenant, and the design/engineering teams, as well as our trade partners.
