Stoughton
The Hebrew SeniorLife Stoughton project is a wood framed 98,000 SF, 96-unit, affordable senior housing development. The new construction project will provide permanently affordable rental housing for adults aged 62 and older, with all units restricted to households earning 60% of Area Median Income (AMI) or less, including 36 units reserved for extremely low-income seniors earning below 30% AMI.
The project will be constructed as a high-performance, energy-efficient senior housing community featuring all-electric building systems and a high-efficiency building envelope consistent with Passive House, Enterprise Green Communities and Massachusetts stretch energy code standards.
The development is being constructed on an undeveloped parcel and will incorporate a service-enriched housing model designed to help older adults age in place. Planned programming includes resident service coordination, wellness and fitness activities, health support services, and community programming to promote social engagement and independence.
