LaGrange Mill Lofts
The LaGrange Mill renovation project involves the transformation of four historic mill buildings, encompassing 97,821 square feet, into modern, loft-style apartment flats and duplexes, revitalizing a significant landmark on LaGrange Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Located within a historic mill complex approximately one mile from downtown Worcester, the project bridges the city’s industrial past with its evolving residential and cultural future.
This ambitious undertaking preserves the architectural character and historical integrity of the mill buildings while incorporating contemporary amenities and design features to meet the needs of modern urban living. The renovation will deliver 63 thoughtfully designed residential units, maintaining key historical elements such as exposed brick walls, large industrial-style windows, and original timber beams, while integrating updated layouts, high-efficiency HVAC systems, and sustainable building materials.
Once completed, the LaGrange Mill apartments will offer a mix of loft-style flats and duplexes, appealing to a diverse group of residents, including young professionals, families, and retirees.
This project represents a thoughtful approach to urban renewal, contributing to Worcester’s continued growth while honoring its rich industrial heritage.
