The Kurlat House (formerly the Genesis House), for 2Life Communities in Brighton, MA involved the occupied renovation of two mid-rise buildings totaling 170k sf containing 209 senior housing units. Renovations included new windows and doors throughout the facility, new roofs and elevators as well as the renovation of the Adult Day Care Facility on site with art room and other common areas. MEPs were replaced in all resident apartments. Each kitchen and bathroom has been renovated and finishes were upgraded throughout.  The project was designed and constructed to achieve Enterprise Green Communities certification.
