Our team completed the second project with 2Life Communities, Inc. at the Brighton Campus which involved the occupied renovation of the 141,000 SF, 10 story, 242 unit, Ulin House. Each unit required complete abatement,new electric, new fire alarms including adding new sprinkler heads. New baseboard radiators and thermostats were installed as well as through wall air conditioning units. New windows were installed throughout and new showers, toilet accessories and bathroom fixtures were upgraded in every bathroom. The kitchens were completely upgraded including new quartz countertops. New appliances, finishes, flooring, drywall, closet doors, shelving doors, hardware, shades and signage upgraded everyone’s home. The common/office areas were also fully renovated. A new front lobby addition was completed along with renovations to existing elevators. It is worth noting that a temporary hoist was installed for construction access during renovations. Once the 10th floor was completed, tenants from the 9th floor were moved up. This process was repeated throughout for tenants on each floor. Our superintendents worked with a relocation team of 5 who interviewed each tenant to coordinate moving out of their current units into the completed units. Our attitude is that we are guests in the homes of each tenant and treat them and their belongings with the utmost respect.
