The Nest is an 8,400 SF ground up daycare/ preschool that is located at the Wheeler School’s Farms Campus in Seekonk. The Nest consists of a large site improvements package that will help support the school natural / outdoor learning environment. The structure consists of a frost wall foundation with wood framing above. The exterior envelope AVB and cedar siding attached with a thermally broken system and includes Intus style windows. The project includes interior finishes that will be centered around the school’s outdoor feel and will consist of exposed wood throughout and stone tile flooring. The project will be using an all-electric MEPFP systems throughout.

The pools project consists of 2 swimming pools, a splash pad, and an extensive site improvements package. One of the swimming pools will be a 6-lane lap pool with an air dome above while the other pool will be a kid’s pool. The splash pad is designed to give a natural look and will be constructed with boulders primarily found around the school’s existing campus. The Pools project will also consist of constructing a pool house that features exposed glulam framing with LGMF infill, and stone cladding. The Pool House will consist of bathrooms, change rooms, and pool storage / equipment rooms with interior finishes and MEP systems like the Nest.
