FALMOUTH — While Dellbrook|JKS prides itself on having dedicated and conscientious employees, there is perhaps nobody more caring than Trish Ross. After an incredible 33 years with our company, we are beyond proud to announce her well-deserved retirement.

When Dellbrook Construction merged with JK Scanlan in 2010, we gained Trish and her expertise as a Project Administrator. Before this and in every year since, she has been a strong asset to her coworkers, known for her reliability and consistent willingness to help wherever she could.

“In the early years of my career, Trish was my ‘go-to person,’ always willing to answer my questions and offer guidance,” said Craig Gabri, Senior Estimator. “Later, when I became a Project Manager, she became my ‘one and only’ Project Administrator. We worked on many projects over the years – our first was the Martha’s Vineyard Airport, and our last was the Chilmark Fire Station and EMS Headquarters. Trish, I wish you all the best in this next chapter! You will be deeply missed.”

“I know I, as I believe many others, have always considered her the cornerstone of our operations, bridging the gap between the field and the office,” said Jim Sanderson Sr., General Superintendent. “She has been here for all of my 29 years with the company, and it is hard for me to imagine her no longer being in the office.”

“Trish is one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. She is always so warm and welcoming to anyone who came to the Falmouth office. She has been such a great support to me, always available to help with any questions I had or just listen if needed,” said Linda Easter, Project Administrator. “I will miss her so much, as will everyone else. She truly cares about everyone in the office, and it shows.”

“Since 2011, Trish has been everything from a mentor to a sounding board. I have counted on her for many things, both professionally and personally. I learned so much from her and always appreciated her guidance and patience,” said Kristin Searles, Executive Administrator. “We have always been a solid team, and I couldn’t imagine starting here without someone like her! I appreciate Trish not just as a team member but as a person – she has been and will always be very special to me. “We will miss you, Trish! Enjoy your retirement!”

“We’ve been incredibly spoiled and are going to miss Trish more than we can ever imagine right now,” said Judy Audette, Marketing Specialist. “If there was a picture in the dictionary next to the word integrity, it would be of her; she embodies every single one of our core values. There is nobody with a purer heart or intentions. She is always there to help, never wanting any praise or thanks in return.”

On September 22, coworkers packed into the Falmouth Office’s Large Conference Room to celebrate this fantastic individual with a retirement party. Amidst a catered meal and cake, Greg Inman, Project Executive, shared some words of gratitude for Trish. “I appreciate everything you have done for me and everyone here. You take care of this office so well and never miss a day. Thank you, Trish. You deserve retirement – enjoy it!”

We are so grateful for her many years of unwavering service to our Dellbrook|JKS family. For so many of us, this next year will be the first without the comfort of knowing Trish is around the office. Although it will be strange not having her with us, we wish Trish a very happy retirement, where she plans to spend time in warmer weather with her sister and family. From all of us at DB|JKS, thank you, Trish!
